The event ‘Co-operative Business Models for Open Data?’ will be held on Friday, 20 July from 12 til 3 at the Co-operative Insurance Tower, Manchester.

Since the first meeting in May, Co-operatives UK released its annual report that shows the co-operative economy is growing and the Government has published a White Paper on open data.

This event will continue to explore the benefits of using open data. Speakers will include legal experts in co-operative models and case study examples of successful businesses alongside discussion and workshops around open data.

Co-operatives UK, Co-operative News and Open Data Manchester are all working together to establish a conversation around co-operatives and open data. Discussions around the project will also take place on this website.

The event is aimed at developers, data owners and those active in the open data and co-operative movements and those with an interest in co-operative governance. Places are extremely limited.
