I recently reported that the ICA had begun its endeavours to find an agency to develop a visual identity for the global co-operative brand.

Having undertaken a worldwide search, next week, we are interviewing five agencies who are all keen to undertake this prestigious and influential contract.  2012 was a real watershed for the co-operative movement – thousands of co-operatives and co-operators from across every region and every sector were galvanized behind the UN’s logo and tagline for the International Year of Co-operatives.  We now need to seize the moment and develop a common co-operative visual identity to be used to create a unity of purpose for the global movement.  It’s our time!
